Shimba Hills National Reserve - 2 Days

This short safari features Shimba Hills National Park, which is only 48 km from the coast, and the only reserve in Kenya where the rare roan and sable antelope can be sighted. Accommodation is at Shimba Rainforest Lodge, where there is a 120m walkway extending well into the forest, which enables guests to view game at close quarters and gives bird-lovers the opportunity to sit quietly and enjoy the colorful spectacle of many forest birds.
Departures: Daily, minimum 2 persons.

Day 1
Depart from your hotel after lunch and drive to Shimba National Park. Game drive after entry looking for the rare sable antelope and elephants. Dinner and overnight at the Shimba Lodge (the only tree top Hotel at the coast).

Day 2
Morning nature walks after breakfast. Thereafter game drive as you come out of the park and proceed to your hotel arriving in time for lunch.



Price include:
- Transportation in a custom safari minibus with pop-up roof ideal for game viewing and sightseeing.
- Services of a trained and experienced English speaking driver/guide
- Half board accommodation at the lodge as mentioned
- Bottled water for use during the safari
- Park entry fees

Not included:
- Expenses of personal nature such as visas, travel/baggage insurance, beverages, tips etc.
